What lenders may charge
Rates and Fees
Last updated November 6, 2026
These ranges describe what lenders in our network may offer. Your rate, term and fees come from the lender and depend on its review of your credit, income and state. Not all applicants qualify for the lowest rate.

- APR range

Fees a lender may charge
- Origination fee: a one-time fee, often taken out of the amount before the money is sent.
- Late payment fee: a late or missed payment can add a fee and can lower your credit score.
- Prepayment fee: some lenders charge for paying early. Many let you pay early at no extra cost.
- Returned payment fee: a payment that fails for lack of funds can bring a charge from the lender or your bank.
Credit inquiries, renewals and collections
- Entering an amount and ZIP on this site does not involve a credit inquiry. A lender may run a soft inquiry, which does not affect your score. Accepting an offer may lead to a hard inquiry, which can.
- Each lender sets its own renewal policy. A renewal or refinance can add interest and fees.
- If you do not repay as agreed, the lender may contact you, report to credit bureaus or use a collection agency, as the law allows.
- Some lenders may be tribal lenders. They follow tribal law and some federal laws, but generally not state law or state rate caps.
PetVetPay does not promise that you will be matched with a lender, receive an offer or qualify for any rate or term.
Owner to complete: confirm the APR range, terms and amounts against the ranges the lender network publishes, remove the tribal lender line if no tribal lenders are in the network, and have this page reviewed by a qualified attorney.
